Academically Gifted Students

Academically gifted students demonstrate exceptional academic ability and intellectual aptitude, as defined by Louisiana Bulletin 1508. These students are provided with advanced, differentiated instruction focused on higher-order thinking skills, creativity, and enrichment activities. Services are delivered through an enrichment model tailored to meet their unique learning needs. All gifted teachers hold a master’s degree and possess additional certification in Academically Gifted education.
